Resin Votive Icon
Hand-sculpted and inspired by the bird-faced goddess icons of ancient Cyprus, terracotta figures dating to 1200–1450 BCE, believed to represent Astarte, goddess of the ancient world.
Made from olive wax and scented with Temple Resin — frankincense, benzoin, labdanum, amyris and patchouli. The same family of aromatics burned in Cypriot sanctuaries three thousand years ago.
She releases her scent slowly and passively into the room. No flame. No burning. Just presence. She is not a candle. She is a votive. Place her somewhere that matters.
