Diabetes Testing

Our trained Pharmacist can provide you with a blood sugar or diabetes test.

Some people may not realise that they have raised blood sugar and are at risk of developing diabetes. A blood glucose check will allow you the opportunity to safely and reliability check your risk for diabetes. The test is carried out using blood from a finger prick. The test results will be interpreted and you will be given advice regarding any action that needs to be taken. This service will be carried out in our private consultation room.

 The test is £5.00 and although an appointment does not need to be made, the test is best carried out on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning.
