Beginning in the early to mid 40s many adults may start to have problems seeing clearly reading, especially when working on a computer. 

Initially, you may need to hold reading materials further away to see them clearly. Print on newspapers or on restaurant menus may appear blurred, especially in dim lighting. This is caused by the eye lens becoming less flexible with age and these changes will progress with time.
